After studying both open office and google docs, I think that google docs would be the best suited for my needs and purposes. Google docs are simpler to use . I have utilized them in the past because I use gmail. Open office is great if you are in the business world or have to do spreadsheets, office documents, etc., which I don't have to do. I also am pretty satisfied with microsoft office,too. In order to use open office, I would really have to use their tutorials and practice a lot, to familiarize myself with all the options they have. For me, the simpler and quicker, the better.
